I was beginning to think the exact opposite. In the Great Lakes region, we have had the coolest summer in my memory, only one day in the 90's all summer. Normally we have 12! Overnite lows in August of 46 degrees twice. They are prdicting 43 deg. tonite! (Sept 5th) Tons of rain in August, always cloudy and gloomy, normally you don't have to mow the grass in Aug. because there is no rain, we had to mow every week or it would be 6" tall! Very unusual.
